Commercial Projects
The following examples represent my professional experience of commercial projects.
These have included high-end private dwellings, refurbishments to existing apartments, Extra Care housing and adaptations for wounded service personnel.
New laboratory and offices, Portsdown hill
The brief for this project involved the design of a new laboratory for testing and manufacturing fume cupboards as well as new company offices to the first floor. A rooftop terrace and outdoor social spaces were also incorporated for staff use. For this project, I produced feasibility drawings based on sketches in plan and elevations, and later planning drawings and 3D views.
New golf driving range and clubhouse, Hounslow Heath
The brief for this project involved the design of a new driving range, clubhouse, and associated parking, landscaping and adventure golf course. This was to form part of a proposed masterplan for Hounslow Heath.
I was involved in updating and revising planning and Building Regulations drawings for this project, including working with other members of the project team and masterplan team to ensure that the design was kept up to date with changes to the surrounding areas, particularly the parking, adventure golf and driving range fencing.
I also produced 3D views and rendered elevations both for planning submissions and for client approval.
